| ISDE Day Four |
| Finnish riders Samuli Aro and Eero Remes continued KTM’s charge at the International Six Days Enduro in Figueira Da Foz as Enduro 3 class competitor Aro remains as runner-up in the overall classification while Remes holds fourth and sits at the top of the Enduro 1 class. |

No fewer than five KTM riders are now positioned inside the top 12 of the overall classification, among them Finns, Italians and US riders. With just two days to go until the end of the event the fourth day proved to be every bit as demanding as the opening three days as the dry, rough and sandy Portuguese terrain offered all competitors little time to relax.
Second in both the overall classification and the Enduro 3 class Samuli Aro put his many years of experience to good use and despite not quite managing to top the E3 class now sits just 38 seconds behind Frenchman Christophe Nambotin. With day five featuring numerous sandy special tests Samuli is still confident of reaching to top of the class. “Let’s see what day five brings,” said the Finn in typically relaxed fashion.
Fourth in the Enduro 3 class at the end of the fourth day is US Trophy team rider Kurt Caselli. Mounted on a 300 EXC, like Aro, Caselli put in the best performance of any US rider and remains well placed within the top 10 in the overall classification.
Despite the continued impressive form of Eero Remes Finland dropped to sixth in the Trophy team classification from their position inside the top three. Despite day four featuring just one sandy test Remes once again showed his E1 rivals the way to go and is now more than one and a half minutes ahead in the Enduro 1 class results. Joining Remes in producing a solid day four result aboard his 250 EXC-F was Italian Trophy team rider Simone Albergoni. Ninth in the overall classification Albergoni ended day four as Italy’s fastest rider.
In the Enduro 2 class Alessandro Belometti once again placed as the best two-stroke rider in the class and with four days completed holds 11th in the overall classification and a solid fourth in E2. Along with Albergoni the veteran Italian’s performances ensure Italy hold the runner-up spot behind France in the Trophy team class.
KTM mounted Lorenzo Santolino’s performances on day four have ensured that Spain remain at the top of the Junior Trophy class, and with two-minute lead over France, and just two days remaining, Spain look good for the top spot in the junior category.
