| With just one day remaining at the 84th running of the International Six Days Enduro KTM Enduro Factory Team riders Eero Remes and Simone Albergoni sit in first and second place respectively in the Enduro 1 class. |

Dominating the class since the start of the gruelling Portuguese event Remes claimed yet another day win on day five placing over one-minute ahead of KTM team-mate Albergoni, and in doing so extends his lead at the top of the class. In finishing as runner-up to the Finn Albergoni strengthened his position in the overall E1 classification, too. With just one day remaining things are looking extremely good for both Remes and Albergoni.
Italian Alessandro Belometti produced another solid result in the competitive Enduro 2 class on day five, placing fourth behind Spain’s Cristobal Guerrero, France’s Rodrig Thain and Portuguese rider Luis Correia. Producing one of the Italian Trophy team’s best results, Bello’ remains in a strong fourth overall in the overall E2 results. As a former GP motocross racer Alessandro is looking forward to the final day’s motocross race.
Just as in the Enduro 1 class KTM riders claimed a dominant one-two result in the Enduro 3 class as Finn Samuli Aro topped the day while US star Kurt Caselli placed as runner-up. The two riders were separated by just five seconds. With overall E3 class leader Christophe Nambotin still at the top of the E3 class Aro is now just 23 seconds behind and has everything to go for during his final motocross race. Currently fourth in the overall E3 results Kurt Caselli sits just under two minutes behind leader Nambotin.
Two Trophy teams lost riders during the fifth days competition. Class leaders France saw Julien Gauthier fail to finish, while Australia lost the vastly experienced Stefan Merriman following a crash. France, who are now down to five riders, hold a comfortable four-minute over Italy with Australia third. In the Junior Trophy class Spain continue to lead ahead of France and the USA.
