The home of the KTM X-BOW: Where racing pedigree meets perfect service

Are you interested in a super sportscar like the KTM X-BOW GT-XR1 and keen to see the car up close and personal? Then it’s high time you made your way to Thalheim near Wels in Upper Austria. Here you will find the KTM X-BOW Racing Center, where customers can dive into a world of speed, driving experience and the highest standard of quality. The showrooms in Thalheim and at the factory in Graz were renovated and upgraded in March 2023 to provide an even more immersive experience.

In Thalheim, all of the Austrian sports car manufacturer’s current models are displayed in a special motorsport ambience, with the cars lined up on a starting grid. Potential KTM customers can sit behind the wheel of their preferred model, receive advice from the team of experts or configure their very own X-BOW. Tailor-made aftersales packages, including a pick-up and delivery service, are also on offer for the perfect KTM experience.

“We aren’t just selling a car, we are selling a unique experience that can only be sampled on the race track or on the twists and turns of mountain passes,” says Lukas Barth, Head of the KTM X-BOW Racing Center and KTM X-BOW Product Manager. “When you visit the KTM X-BOW Racing Center in Thalheim, you immediately realise that it is the beating heart of KTM sports cars on the race track. Not only is it somewhere where we develop the latest KTM models, it is also home to a highly specialised team that provide our customers with outstanding customer service, industry-leading workshop options and a comprehensive range of other services ensuring that KTMs are ‘Ready to Race’ at any time.”

Unrivalled service

The offering also includes KTM’s Customer Racing Service, where the factory can take care of, set up, maintain and repair racing cars such as the KTM X-BOW GTX and the KTM X-BOW GT2 to whatever extent the customer requires. The Customer Racing Service can also perform works conversions or upgrades, like the installation of KTM PowerParts.

Not only that, a number of other services are offered that won’t be found elsewhere: “We even collect the racing cars, give them a ‘pit stop’ and deliver them back to wherever they are needed – without our customer teams having to lift a finger,” explains Laura Kraihamer, Head of Marketing and Motorsport at KTM Sportcar GmbH. “We have a large fleet of vehicles specialised in transporting racing cars. In addition, we assist and support our KTM customer teams at the track with remote service as well as on-site expertise. This can include set-up recommendations or comprehensive data analysis, which can make all the difference in the hunt for trophies. “Motorsport is our number one priority at KTM, and we have gathered a large amount of experience,” she adds. “We love to pass this on to our customer teams, so that they can extract every last drop of performance from their cars.” All customer racing services are also available for track days with road-going cars, like the super sportscar KTM X-BOW GT-XR.

A look behind the scenes

Every single KTM X-BOW traces its roots back to Graz in Styria, where KTM Sportcar GmbH operates one of the world's most modern limited-production vehicle facilities. Spread across 5,000 square metres, the factory has a team of experts and specialists who have produced and assembled around 100 KTM X-BOWs for the track and road annually since 2008.

Potential KTM customers can therefore also travel to Graz to configure their very own KTM X-BOW, order new PowerParts or simply find out more about the latest models. Cars can also be collected from Graz if necessary. Customers interested in picking up their new car from the factory Graz can also take an exclusive look behind the scenes with a factory tour.
