KTM dominated IBW on 6th & 7th Dec with a never seen before line-up of events for the biking community and especially for KTM customers.

KTM kickstarted the festivities ahead of the weekend with a thrilling Power Ride to Goa for KTM owners from Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad on the 5th of December. Popular vloggers like Candida Louis, Mohammed Salim Khan (MSK) and Bigbang Biker were also a part of the Power Ride.

KTM also launched the much-awaited KTM 390 Adventure which marks KTM’s entry into the emerging adventure motorcycles market in India. The recent years have witnessed an increasing trend in adventure touring and the interest in outdoor exploration is on the rise. The 390 Adventure has been conceptualized to address this trend and has been purpose-built for adventure travel while being a great ride for city use as well.

Speaking at the event, Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking) at Bajaj Auto Ltd. said, “KTM has nurtured a base of over 2.5 lac biking enthusiasts in the last 7 years through its Duke and RC range, offering them technology and performance they had never seen before. The Adventure biking segment in India is starting to pick up steam over the last few years, backed by a widespread motorcycle touring culture. With the new KTM 390 Adventure, loaded with a host of first-in-class features like Cornering ABS, Offroad ABS, lean-angle sensitive Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) and Quickshifter+, we believe KTM will play a pivotal role in building the adventure motorcycle segment in the country.”

KTM also introduced the premium Swedish motorcycle brand, Husqvarna at IBW. Husqvarna Motorcycles will make its debut in the Indian market with two new models – the Svartpilen 250 and the Vitpilen 250 – that launched at India Bike Week 2019 and will carve the way for the brand.

The Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 are equipped with the same single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-stroke, 248.8 cc engine that makes 31 hp and 24 Nm of maximum torque and delivers the highest levels of smoothness, thanks to the balancer shaft. They have a trellis frame and come with Bosch dual-channel ABS. The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 has a sporty design with a front lean riding position and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 has a more rugged design and upright stance, suited for both on and off-road journeys.

KTM’s first-ever participation at the two-day event in Goa was a phenomenal success and a paradise for all motorcycle enthusiasts. KTM took it to a whole new level with their action-packed events making it a thrilling weekend that left fans craving for more action from the brand in future!
