Ideal platform: KTM showcases machinery at sports car events and track days

With summer just around the corner, the track day, tuning and sports car event season is almost upon us. KTM Sportcar GmbH is often present with its unique KTM X-BOW GT-XR1 and actively supports a handful of specially chosen events. They range from special activities, where KTM has the chance to present its uncompromising super sports car, to pure motorsport meetings and even exciting track days.

“All of these are ideal opportunities for us to showcase our KTM models,” says Lukas Barth, Product Manager for KTM X-BOW and KTM PowerParts. “They also give car enthusiasts a chance to get up close and personal with our cars, take a detailed look at their thrilling design and experience their unrivalled performance and the breath-taking sensation behind the wheel. We firmly believe that these experiences create a passion for our incomparable sports cars.

KTM is on hand at many of these events, reinforcing their importance at the heart of its super sports car programme. The MOTORTAG at the Salzburgring and the Slovakia Ring Track Night are two particular highlights, along with the KTM-organised KTM X-BOW Trackdays at the Red Bull Ring.

This year’s MOTORTAG is set to take place on 1 and 2 June 2024 at the Salzburgring in Austria. The 2024 event promises to be yet another festival for the Austrian motorsport and tuning scene. Visitors and participants will be able to view a wide range of exhibitions and presentations and see some competitive motorsport, too – featuring super sports cars such as the KTM X-BOW GT-XR, historic racing machinery and everything in between.

Those who wish to take their very own racing car to the limit and missed the first KTM X-BOW Trackday at the Red Bull Ring have another opportunity to enjoy the experience – this time on 11 September 2024. Road cars and racing machinery will be split into separate groups, ensuring maximum driving enjoyment on one of Europe’s most modern circuits. The event is open to all cars, regardless of manufacturer. Registrations are now open on the KTM website.

The Slovakia Ring Track Night on 25 September 2024 is another special experience. Starting in the daytime, the track day extends into the nighttime and is perfect for sports car fans who value a group dynamic and a relaxed atmosphere alongside driving enjoyment. The track is fully illuminated, giving the event a special flair.
