Top five results for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team as MXGP reconvened for the first of three 2025 Grand Prix dates on the Iberian Peninsula. Simon Laengenfelder was highest placed with 4th in MX2 at Cozar in central Spain as heavy rainfall created rough, slow, slick and difficult racing conditions.
MotoGP™ rounded the overcast Termas de Rio Hondo circuit for the second round of the season and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Brad Binder was the highest classified racer after 25 laps by taking his KTM RC16 to 7th place in Argentina. Pedro Acosta was also in the top ten with 9th while the KTM GP Academy were encouraged by Jose Antonio Rueda’s fight for victory in Moto3™.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Marc-Antoine Rossi will have surgery to repair damage to his right shoulder next week and will immediately start the rehab process in order to return to FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship duty.
