This results in a power output of 173 PS and 145 Nm of torque, all while meeting the latest EURO 5+ homologation standards, with valve clearance checks only necessary after 60,000 km.

A big part of the KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE range punch comes from all-new CAMSHIFT technology. This provides variable-valve timing with 2 different cam profiles, making for an optimized power band with higher torque and peak performance. In short, it works like this - in the lower rev range, the inlet cams have a reduced valve timing and lift, meaning the inlet valves are open for a shorter time. At higher revs, the inlet cams shift sideways, with longer valve openings and a higher valve lift for more gas flow - and of course, more go!
