The KTM X-BOW GT2 returns to one of the most spectacular races of the year in 2024: the Bathurst 12 Hour. KTM Vantage Racing will be handling the entry at the famous endurance race in Australia, and the team will be travelling to Mount Panorama Circuit with a strong line-up. Alongside Trent Harrison and David Crampton will be KTM works driver Laura Kraihamer.
With the traditional race start before sunrise, a punishing circuit with little run-off to speak of and huge, unforgiving walls of rock, it’s no wonder that the Bathurst 12 Hour is so popular among fans and drivers alike. Trent Harrison is particularly looking forward to the 2024 edition, as the Aussie will be taking on the race for the fifth time with teammate David Crampton. “I am so excited to be back in Bathurst with my great friend David and our new teammate Laura,” Harrison said.
Laura Kraihamer will be utilising her wealth of experience in championships such as the Fanatec GT2 European Series. The driver trio will be looking to successfully complete Australia’s most important endurance race. “Bathurst has always been our Achilles heel in the past,” Crampton said. “But 2024 will definitely be our year! Our team is better positioned than ever, with fantastic support from KTM in Austria. I think this year’s entry team is of very high quality.”
The green flag for the 12-hour race on Sunday 18 February is traditionally flown at 5:45 local time. With a time difference of ten hours, the action begins on Saturday evening European time. The race is scheduled to go green at 19:45 (CET). Fans can keep track with all the action thanks to the free live stream.
