A new driving performance era at KTM kicked off over 18 months ago. Since September 2022, the KTM X-BOW GT-XR1 has been making a mark and delivering ultimate performance on the road. With over 150 models already sold, and 2024 stock already sold out, the super sportscar from KTM is ready to take on new roads.
ANB Automobiles LLC is the company behind the new expansion. The Dubai-based KTM importer and KTM Sportcar GmbH agreed on a long-term partnership on 11 April comprising the delivery of 30 KTM X-BOW GT-XR cars, general import rights for the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman and exclusive territorial protection for these countries for the next three years.

“Since its launch, the KTM X-BOW GT-XR has taken the European super sportscar market by storm,” says Michael Wölfling, Managing Director of KTM Sportcar GmbH. “In this second wave, we want to unlock that incredible feeling of experiencing a KTM X-BOW GT-XR for even more customers outside of Europe. That’s why we are delighted to have agreed to such a promising agreement with our long-term partners ANB Automobiles. It will bring the KTM X-BOW GT-XR to motoring enthusiasts throughout the Emirates and the Gulf states and open the door to the most important super sportscar markets in the world.”
Exclusive dealers: Expanding global network
KTM Sportcar GmbH markets the KTM X-BOW GT-XR in other countries through direct importers, who also handle the registration process. There are other exclusive partner dealers in European countries and communities, such as the Benelux countries, who must fulfil certain criteria.
“It’s important to us that our dealers have an impeccable reputation and a proven track record in the super sportscar market,” Wölfling explains. “After all, our KTM X-BOW customers aren’t just getting a car, they’re getting a lifestyle product. And that lifestyle should be reflected in the people they do business with. This is the benchmark that our exclusive sales partners have to meet.”
Quality over quantity
“We have optimised our dealer network by improving quality and the customer experience,” Wölfling adds. “Our exclusive super sportscars have to be showcased attractively. It’s also particularly important that our customers get the service they deserve. To fulfil these high standards, all our sales partners have to complete certified technical training.”
KTM Sportcar GmbH works with at least one exclusive sales partner in the European core markets. Customers can experience, customise and purchase KTM cars in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, as well as in regions such as Benelux, Scandinavia and the Adriatic. In the company’s home market of Austria, KTM sells its super sportscars and racing cars directly. Further importers and national registration processes are in the pipeline for countries such as Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore. The KTM X-BOW is now generating enthusiasm in around 40 countries across all vehicle generations.
