Pedro Acosta is known to be a promising talent in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. Starting his career at a young age, Acosta quickly made a name for himself by winning the Pre-Moto3 Spanish Championship in 2017. In 2020, he clinched the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup title, showcasing his potential on the international stage. The following year, Acosta made a sensational debut in the Moto3 World Championship, becoming the first rider in Grand Prix history to finish on the podium in his first four races, including a remarkable victory at the Doha Grand Prix after starting from pit lane. He went on to secure the 2021 Moto3 World Championship title in his rookie season, solidifying his status as a rising star. Acosta progressed to the Moto2 category in 2022 with the Red Bull KTM Ajo team. Despite facing challenges, including an injury that caused him to miss two races, he finished the season with three victories and was named 'Rookie of the Year.' In 2023, he dominated the Moto2 class, claimed the World Championship title with two races to spare, becoming the youngest intermediate class champion since Dani Pedrosa in 2004. In 2024, Acosta made his MotoGP debut on the KTM RC16, showcasing his adaptability and skill in the premier class.
