    Every new KTM motorcycle comes with a standard manufacturer’s warranty, providing you with the confidence to conquer any road or trail. Additionally, a PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY is available, offering up to 4 years of coverage for certain street models* at no extra cost. For even greater peace of mind, you can opt for an OPTIONAL EXTENDED WARRANTY (only available in certain European countries**) to cover your bike after the Manufacturer’s Warranty (or PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY) expires. 

    Please note that some motorcycles, such as track-only models, are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Additionally, adhering to the service schedule outlined in the owner’s manual is essential for maintaining all types of warranties – standard, premium, and extended. Our extensive authorized KTM dealer network is always on hand, ready to provide expert maintenance and regular servicing to keep your bike running like new. With KTM, you can ride further, faster, and worry-free.

    Every new KTM comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. The full duration depends on the specific model. However, some motorcycles, like track-only models, are exempt from the manufacturer’s warranty. Authorized KTM dealers will have all the information.

    PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

    Selected models* come with the PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY, offering up to 4 years of coverage right from the start, at no extra cost. This includes new model year 2023, 2024, and 2025 LC8c and LC8 STREET and TRAVEL motorcycles. To keep enjoying this extended protection, simply ensure your bike is serviced at an authorized KTM dealer. This way, you can ride with confidence, knowing your bike is always in expert hands and covered for the long haul.

    Easy. Just book a service for your KTM at an authorized KTM dealer. The PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY will be kept active once the service has been carried out, giving you up to 4 years of coverage for 2023, 2024, and 2025 LC8c and LC8 STREET and TRAVEL models*, free of charge.

    After each service, the PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY remains valid for a maximum period of 12 months until the next service, when it will be renewed. This process ensures that you can maintain up to 4 years of coverage.

    For street-legal models of the LC8c and LC8 range (twin cylinder models) from model year 2023*** onward, the initial manufacturer’s warranty period will be extended up to a maximum of 4 years starting from the take into use date.

    ***For model year 2023 & 2024: Valid for bikes in stock sold from 3.2.2025. The duration of the manufacturer’s warranty for the bikes that have already been retailed/registered does not change. 

    • The PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY is free and applied automatically (to the models mentioned above). You don’t have to take any further action.
    • The PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY is tied to the motorcycle, not the owner, so it can be transferred if the bike is sold.
    • The PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY is a worldwide policy, ensuring your bike is covered no matter where you ride.

    OPTIONAL EXTENDED WARRANTY

    We want your KTM to outlast your throttle hand. That’s why we’ve introduced the OPTIONAL WARRANTY EXTENSION, designed to seamlessly take over once the initial manufacturer’s warranty or the PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY ends. Available for street-legal motorcycles in certain European countries**, this warranty covers your bike for up to 12 years or 80,000 km.

    Pretty vast and complete. 

    • Worry-free travels for longer: warranty coverage for up to 12 years or 80,000 km.
    • Europe-wide coverage: repairs and assistance throughout Europe.
    • Higher re-sale value: extended warranty carries over to new owner.
    • Straightforward handling: your authorized KTM dealer takes care of cases. 
    • Extensive protection: coverage of labor and material costs (value-adjusted contribution to material costs from 50,000 km onwards).

    Your authorized KTM dealer is your main ally here. You can sign the extension agreement at any time, but make sure to do so before the end of the motorcycle's current warranty window (standard manufacturer’s warranty or PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY). The OPTIONAL EXTENDED WARRANTY can be renewed every 12 months until the bike reaches up to 12 years of age or an 80,000 km threshold.

    The warranty applies to almost all components. Only components subject to wear and tear, such as brake pads and tires are not included. Coverage is provided according to the local partner’s terms and conditions.

    • The OPTIONAL EXTENDED WARRANTY is only for street-legal motorcycles.
    • The motorcycle must be registered or serviced in a participating country: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Norway, Sweden, Finland.

    Any change in ownership must be registered by your dealer in the manufacturer’s dealer system to maintain warranty coverage.

    The optional extended warranty can exclusively be signed and activated at any authorized KTM dealer. If you want to extend the coverage, ensure the policy is signed before it expires.

    All required service and maintenance work must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

    This way, you can keep your bike protected and enjoy the benefits of the OPTIONAL EXTENDED WARRANTY.
