Sportscar manufacturer KTM is set to unveil the new KTM X-BOW GT2 EVO at the end of the 2024 season. The successor to the winning GT2 car, the most popular in the GT2 European Series, will receive some significant updates to raise overall performance to a brand-new level. The new model will be revealed to the public for the first at the Spa 24 Hours at the end of June in the form of a prototype.
“The KTM X-BOW GT2 is already one of the most successful machines in the up-and-coming GT2 European Series,” said Laura Kraihamer, who heads up motorsport operations at KTM Sportcar GmbH. “Championship titles and runners-up trophies, as well as numerous overall and class victories, are a testament to that. We cannot wait to get the newest version of the KTM X-BOW GT2, which features even more performance and downforce, onto the racetrack.”
The KTM X-BOW GT2 EVO is to be homologated globally for all SRO GT2 series, offering both amateur drivers and professionals a unique experience and maximum performance. The EVO model features a number of updates in key areas, with a particular focus on making the car even more robust and reliable. “We firmly believe that the KTM X-BOW GT2 EVO will be even more competitive than its predecessor and will write the next chapter in the car’s success story.”
The KTM X-BOW GT2 EVO will be unveiled for the first time at the 100th running of the Spa 24 Hours from 27 to 30 June. The updated model will then spend the remainder of 2024 completing challenging endurance tests.
The KTM X-BOW GT2 EVO is available from the fourth quarter of 2024. Pre-orders are now open at all KTM X-BOW authorised dealers and at the KTM X-BOW Racing Center in Thalheim/Wels.
