KTM MY RIDE is a downloadable app for a mobile device that connects to the motorcycle’s electronic system via Bluetooth technology. You pair the mobile device to the KTM with a straightforward ‘code share’ procedure. The link will then be stored and remembered the next time the you turn on the ignition and the device is within close range. KTM MY RIDE can also be used to connect to different KTMs with the same user profile.
No. Like Maps on iPhone and Google Maps and a host of other satellite GPS systems, KTM MY RIDE Navigation is an independent map-based software program; one with a number of handy features for KTM touring and cruising.
KTM MY RIDE can be used in roaming but special maps for KTM MY RIDE Navigation can be downloaded and stored via WIFI before setting off on a journey. Routes can also be stored and used again later.
After downloading and becoming familiar with KTM MY RIDE on your phone and then pairing with your KTM, the full extent of the app can be explored and changed using a combination of button pushes and menu selections through the left handlebar switches. We fully advocate setting up and customising your app choices before starting your journey.

KTM MY RIDE can be downloaded to work with the following 2017 models (the KTM MY RIDE Navigation facility can be activated for free on 2017 Super Adventure motorcycles): KTM 1290 Super Adventure S and 1290 Super Adventure R
By activating Bluetooth on a mobile device and ‘searching’ for the KTM motorcycle. Once paired then both device and motorcycle will be synced and will interact. The mobile device can then be switched to ‘black screen mode’ and stored in a bag or pocket to save power. You can cycle through the functions of the KTM MY RIDE app using the switch on the left handlebar.
KTM 1290 Super Adventure models will be able to use the full functionality of KTM MY RIDE thanks to a simple and free activation process through a local and authorised KTM dealer.
KTM MY RIDE Navigation uses English as the fallback language for streetnames that are e.g. in Russian. Sometimes, the fallback name for such a street cannot be provided to us by our map supplier which may lead to a wrong display of the street name on the dashboard.
