Belgian Lucas Coenen is the newest addition to the KTM family, joining the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing squad for the 2025 season, alongside his twin brother Sacha. After a successful rookie season in 2023, which included three podium finishes and a MX2 Grand Prix victory, Coenen stepped it up a level for 2024, which saw him challenging for the title up to the final race in Spain. Despite missing out on the MX2 crown, Coenen was the most dominant rider – leading the most laps and winning the most races and GP’s than any other rider in the class. 2025 will be a big year for Coenen, who will make the move up to the premier MXGP class on board the 450 SX-F.
